Promo: If you want to go to college, but don't have the money, look for it on the Internet. Find out how...next. If the thought of higher education excites you, but you need the cash to make it a reality, check the Internet for sources of scholarships, grants and loans. Visit Financial Aid Search Through the Web or fastWEB at www.fastweb.com to get the information you want and need. Start by filling out the application. Areas include your biographical information, background, education and experience, parent and student interests, and college and college major. While at first it may seem a bit overly-detailed, it is necessary in order to get the most out of this service. Once all that is entered, you are presented with the grants, loans and scholarships that match your criteria. To find out more about an item, simply click on it. To make it as easy as possible to request the full information, fastWEB even includes a "Basic Form Letter." All you need to do is just print, stamp and mail it. One of the nice things about fastWEB is that once you are entered in their system, you have a special "mailbox" you can check daily. To check your mailbox, just enter in your last name and password. New scholarships, grants and loans are added to fastWEB daily and if one meets the information you entered, it will be automatically put in your mailbox.. Finally, if you ever need to change your application you can easily update it. So, if you want to get back to school, don't let the finances stop you, just find the scholarships, grants and loans you need on the Internet. From age 6 to 96 and beyond, there is something on the Internet for everyone. I'm Jack Nelson, The Internet Tutor. |
